Many people scour the internet each day trying to find great coins at great prices but where do they go? Some go to places like eBay to get the generic coins they want. While the ones that are really into collecting are building a little known places called Challenge Coin Auctions. We are taking a very serious look at where this platform is going and we have to say it’s coming together like a well oiled machine. People are taking notice and are taking their dollars off eBay and getting serious about this new auction home. We know as a seller the fees are 5% of what eBay charges and the traffic is there to support the beginning of something very awesome. Are you looking to pick up some new coins?

Well another coin from 2008 should be highlighted because of it’s simplicity and it’s beauty. The Fire Marshal’s Valor Award Ceremony 2008 challenge coin. This brass coin is a 2″ beauty with the perfect strike to highlight the awarding. It’s all done in hard enamel which makes the colored areas pop out against the brass tone. There is no doubt this is a special coin that the recipients will cherish for the efforts in earning it.
This is a fine specimen from U.S. Challenge Coins which they obviously delivered quality in another fire fighter coin and we are very proud to highlight this coin on this blog. Be sure to show this off to anyone who loves collecting in this area.

Check out this beautiful fire fighting coin from Branson Fire Dept. These guys have put out a great coin with success written all over it. This 1.5″ nickel plated coin is a winner with some of the finest detail. No epoxy has touched this one either which means you can actually feel the details on both sides.
Branson is that hotspot of America trying to boom with casinos and resorts right now. The fire department is going to be one of the busier one’s in America before we know it. As their first coin is released they went with U.S. Challenge Coins and anyone in the hobby should know that name. They are making some of the best coins we are seeing out in today’s collecting. They put this little coin in the limelight for all to see.

Are you a big time collector? Are you a small time collector? It doesn’t matter to the gentlemen at Challenge Coin Collecting. They built a whole site talking collector’s up for free! They built this site to interview and discuss with collector’s things about the hobby. They interview with 20 questions and the collector answers and then additional information is given. This is one of the nicest challenge coin collecting sites on the net allowing other hobbyist to get personal and learn things about collectors that they otherwise may never know.
Getting personal is a great ice breaker when you want to meet someone or trade with them. You get to know a little bit about why they collect, or why they trade. You will find out all kinds of things like where they are from, where they started picking up coins, and maybe a little side information to help you in your quest for the ultimate challenge coin rack. If you went back even 10 years ago you would be hard pressed to find many fire fighting challenge coins alive in circulation. In today’s world you find many new coins coming out from stations around the U.S. like never before. Something as close niche to the military is finally making it out to many places to include Police, Federal Agencies, Schools, Clubs, and more. The challenge coin instills morale and unit pride and we all know the firemen have tons of that. There is no way in 10 more years a station would be without their branded coins.
